Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of lobotax.com (the “Website”), operated by Lobo Tax & Advisory LLC (“Lobo,” “we,” “us”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
Information only, not advice
Content on the Website is provided for general informational purposes. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and it is not a substitute for advice based on your specific facts. Tax laws change frequently, and content may not reflect the most current rules.
No client relationship
Using the Website, submitting the contact form, emailing us, or booking a call does not create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when you sign an engagement letter that we have issued to you describing the scope of services. We may decline any engagement.
Do not send confidential or sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, tax documents, or financial account details, through the Website.
Purchases
Nothing is sold through the Website itself. Our services are provided under a signed engagement letter, which includes our Service Terms (scope, fees, refunds and cancellation).
No guarantee of results
Any description of tax strategies or outcomes is illustrative. Results depend on your individual circumstances and on the law as applied to them, and no particular outcome is guaranteed.
Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, the Lobo Tax & Advisory name, the LOBO wordmark, and the wolf logo, are owned by or licensed to Lobo and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content, names, or logos for any other purpose without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Website to break the law; to submit false, misleading, or automated inquiries; to interfere with the Website’s operation or security; or to upload or transmit malicious code.
Third-party services and links
The Website links to services operated by others, such as our Microsoft Bookings scheduling page, our client portal (TaxDome) and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lobo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Website or its content. This section does not limit any obligations Lobo has under a signed engagement letter.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Website after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
